Dreaming the Mainstream / Beyond the Paperback Revolution

In his book Realometer (Merve Verlag, 2007), cultural critic, science fiction author and artist Mark von Schlegell argues that the history of experimental writing and its publication has far more to do with the nature of reality than we commonly imagine . In this lecture, von Schlegell discusses aspects of his own hybrid literary-artistic practice in the theoretical context of the “paperback revolution” and its aftermath.

The talk will be held in English.
